My dear,

Here I am as a man who likes his vices and his sex. As a man who likes earthly possessions and money and the seeking of both. As a man who gives little to charity and even less to myself. And as a man who in fact does not rest on Sunday, but works harder.

But still…

When I die, I want to go to Heaven – whatever the hell that is.

In a way you can say I’ll be killing two birds with one stone, getting both Heaven and Hell that is. But, ahh, there I go again – thinking like a businessman, through and though.

Falsely yours,
Francisco d’Anconia
