My dear,

Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.

Learn from the hare, just because you’re fast doesn’t mean that you should mockingly rest and give the turtles behind you time to catch-up and pass you.

In fact, if you’re faster and on the right path, think of yourself as lucky and unworthy. How many people are there out there that aren’t blessed with your speed and your good fortune? Use what you’re given. Do not mock them, and in turn mock yourself and your gifts, by sitting still on the tracks and letting the train-like motion of infinitum turtles run you over.

Falsely yours,
William Penn Adair “Will” Rogers
