Nobody has ever measured, not even poets, how much the heart can hold.

Ahhh, but it’s not due to a kind of cowardice in man. It’s because no one, not even poets, are that foolish. The thing life teaches us over and over again is that love knows no weight it can’t hold. It would take an idiot to think that they could measure how much the heart can stand.

To put things in proportion, the second largest thing to measure after would be the size of the universe.
