I find it funny that people think that new knowledge on new subjects is the path to wisdom.
Wisdom lies less in the discovery of a new truth than it does in the loss of a previously held illusion. Wisdom lies more in finding out how wrong you were than in how stupid you were.
Losing an illusion makes you wiser than finding a truth.
If you seek wisdom, seek the destruction of the illusions you hold as true more than you seek new truths.
