My dear,

Do you wake up every day doing exactly what you want to do? Do you not have a boss breathing down your neck every single second? Do you answer to yourself, and only yourself?

Then you are free.

Do you wake up every day doing exactly what makes you happy? Do you not have the frustrations of worry, sadness, and ‘potential not lived up to’ breathing down your neck every single second? Do you find wonder not just once a day, but most likely once an hour?

Then you are happy.

Doing what you like is freedom. Liking what you do is happiness.

You may not always be happy in freedom, and you may not always be free in happiness. But the thrill of life comes from trying to match the two.

And what a thrill it is.

Falsely yours,
Frank Tyger
