My dear,

Our backwards society has instilled in us that from a young age we should follow. Follow rules, teachers, law enforces, parents, etc., etc..

And then once we become adults our society goes right ahead and tells us to start leading. As if all that following has somehow prepared us to lead other people.

You do not earn the right to lead by perfecting the art of following.

To earn the right to lead you must lead when others are following. You must swim against the current when it’s not popular, when everyone despises you for doing so. Only then do you earn the right to lead.

Try to count on one hand the number of great leaders we have today who didn’t drop-out of school and/or society at one point in their lives.

Falsely yours,
