Although treachery through calculation is by far the most horrific, it is not the main cause of treachery. Most of us don’t truly want to hurt one another, but in moments of weakness we do. In moments of weakness we tend to forget that hurting someone else does not in fact help us.
In moments of weakness we forget to be humane.
