My dear,

There are two questions a man must ask himself: The first is ‘Where am I going?’ and the second is ‘Who will go with me?’

If you ever get these questions in the wrong order you are in trouble.

We must each individually ask ourselves the heights and lengths we want to journey, and what we’re going to give up to get there. Then we must ask ourselves who can walk that path with us, who’s as strong or stronger than us to walk that path, and whether or not the journey will be more worthwhile with them or not.

Concern yourself first with the path you want to walk rather than the people on the path – If you walk, and keep walking, you’ll meet fellow companions along the way.

Falsely yours,
Sam Keen
