What is stress?
I’ll tell you what stress is.
Stress is finding yourself awake for three days, running purely on caffeine, your hair in a mess, your children unattended, and your spouse neglected. Stress is when your eyes match your red shirt, when your muscles ache and twitch for no apparent reason, and when the world seems against you every step of the way.
Stress is when you wake up screaming and you realize you haven’t fallen asleep yet.
