My dear,

Screw the calendar. Screw the “New Year.” And screw the New Year’s resolutions.

Who cares about the changing of the dates? Time is a figment of man’s mind, so really, what do dates mean?

What I care about is the person. The person who seizes every day, not just every year, to change and grow themselves. What I care about is the person who knows that while everyone else is using this one moment in time to make promises of growth, they make those promises (and keep them), every day of their lives. What I care about is the person who betters their soul every day until eventually that soul is new again.

The object of a new year is not that we should have a new year. It is that we should have a new soul.

A new soul that we work on every day in search of an even newer, and even better, soul.

Screw the changing of the dates. Build and improve your physical and spiritual self up every day, no matter what day of the year it is.

Falsely yours,
