My dear,

I dislike the scholarly types who think that life, and the meaning of it, is found in the intellectual conversation.

The more we live by our intellect, the less we understand the meaning of life.

You don’t understand life by talking about it, by reading about it, or by pondering about it. You understand it by showing up every day with the intent to fully experience it. Be that be through friends, activities, or romances. Life is in the experiences that drive our emotions insane.

Life is understood by being undertook.

The more we live by our intellect, the less we remember that the meaning of life is to experience it, and not to think or talk about it.

Falsely yours,
Leo Nikolayevich Tolstoy
