My dear,

Most of us lie about ourselves. About our careers, how far we are in life, how happy we are, how much we earn, how much we weigh, and sometimes how old we are.

Lying is our attempt to bridge the gap between how we wish we could be and what we’re really like.

Maybe we should stop lying. Maybe we should stop lying, and in our quietness, actually achieve what we used to lie about.

Wouldn’t we be happier knowing our past lies are now our present truths?

Falsely yours,
Pamela Meyer
