My dear,

The thing wrong with America is that commercials chase the population everywhere. Commercials constantly telling people to buy things that they really don’t need. (Have you seen late night infomercials?!)

So what’s a being supposed to do? What’s someone who’s trying their best to sort through all this chaos of worthless material possessions supposed to do?

I don’t know the full long and drawn out answer to that question, but I know how to begin;

Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.

If it is not useful and does not move your soul by how beautiful it is, why is it in your life? …In fact, why constraint this rule to just your house? Apply it to your entire being. Your entire life!

Falsely yours,
William Morris
