You Cannot Escape The Responsibility Of Tomorrow By Evading It Today.

My dear,

We will each be responsible adults. All of us, we will all have responsibilities.

This scares the crap out of most of us. And so we try to deter from the path as much as possible. We drink, we travel the world, and we procrastinate.

But to our dismay, responsibility is still there – still in our future.

You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today.

Instead of deterring from responsibility in fear (like you would a lion), go towards it with courage.

For in going toward it courageously you not only find the fun side of it that is rarely seen, but you learn to tame it in the process, making it work for you, instead of you for it.

Falsely yours,
Abraham Lincoln
