My dear,

It is better to be alone than in bad company.

Better to laugh in your empty den, than to laugh in fear in the den of the enemy (for that den is a cage I tell you). Better to paddle alone by yourself with just your own mind, that to talk with wolves in human’s clothing and find yourself swimming in the dark oceans that are their minds and souls. Better to shun the wicked and cruel world, than to slowly be accustomed to it and its ways.

After-all, it’s not the bad bunch of apples that ruin the one good, it’s the bad barrel that they’re all in.

Falsely yours,
George Washington
