Being Forgotten Is Mans Greatest Fear, And Staying Relevant Is A Handicap For Most.

My dear,

Here we are chasing stardom like our lives depend on it. Like it’s our air, and we can’t breath without it.

Here we are running away from obscurity like it’s the most dangerous of animals. “Being talked about, whether good or bad, is better than not being talked about at all,” we tell ourselves and continue to run.

Here we are, having nightmares of being forgotten… wide awake.

Being forgotten is Man’s greatest fear, and staying relevant is a handicap for most.

Here we are killing ourselves for fame. In all it’s forms.

Falsely yours,
Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye
