Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don’t need.
It has us chasing jobs in which food is brought to our desks, when in reality that’s no different from being in a prison and having your food brought to you. It has us kneeling before the wealthy businessmen and their skinny silicon injected housewives, and hating ourselves. It has us smiling and sucking up to people we’d rather throw the middle finger to.
Advertising has us eating shit, and smiling the entire time.
